The Eighties
I graduated High School, drove a 1966 Silver Mustang
hardtop and left home to become an architect.
I thought
The University of Illinois in Chicago was the place for me,
but working as a student in the Art and Design studio
helped
me realize that my passions were going to be found
elsewhere. So, I moved closer to home and graduated with
a degree in Graphic Arts and Mathematics from Southern
Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). I liked listening to
Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, and A Flock of Seagulls.
The Nineties
Because I could not get enough of college, in 1992, I went
to work full-time at SIUE. I spent six years learning and
building upon my professional career. By 1998, I had grown
restless and wanted to explore new and more exciting
things. My fruitful search found me at Paradowski Creative
where I have spent the last ten years continuing to learn
and grow. I was listening to Matchbox Twenty, Sarah
McLachlan, and Toad The Wet Sprocket.
The 2000s
Two of the happiest days of my life: the day I got married
to my wife combined with two beautiful step-daughters and
the day my son was born. I live in a historic 120 year old
victorian farm house in Edwardsville’s old town. I love
my iPod, music of the 80s and movie trivia — I hope that
won’t be considered a character flaw. I coach tennis and
play guitar in my spare time. I am listening to The New
Pornographers, Bruce Springsteen, and Matt Scannell.
